NMC’s new disc of music by Luke Bedford rounds off a bumper year of new recordings featuring Geoffrey’s conducting.

On 15th June, Dame Evelyn Glennie was awarded Denmark’s prestigious Léonie Sonning Music Prize, worth one million Danish kroner.

On 3 September Geoffrey returned to the BBC Proms, conducting the London Sinfonietta in a new hour-long work for ensemble and jazz quintet by Norwegian saxophonist Marius Neset.
